The 10th Scientific Meeting for the
Asian Australasian Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery

The President, Executive and Scientific Committee of the Asian-Australasian Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery welcomes you to the Society's 10th Scientific Meeting to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Cairns from 3-5 March, 2016.

We are pleased to be hosting an exciting group of international, regional and local speakers as we keep pace with the rapidly changing field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. Additionally there is the opportunity for all those working in the fields of movement disorder surgery, neuropsychiatric surgery, epilepsy surgery, pain, stereotactic radiotherapy, functional imaging and associated basic sciences to present their work to the Asian region and the world.

The meeting will be held in the spectacular location of Cairns, on the north coast of eastern Australia. In addition to having a spectacular waterfront location in itself, Cairns is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world, along with pristine rainforest, providing ample recreational opportunities before and after the meeting for delegates and their families.
